Out of the South and into the City

Thank you Vistaprint

One of the most important things you learn growing up in the south is how to write thank you notes. My mother had me writing them for birthday presents before I could even write. I remember pitching a fit when I graduated from the fill in the black note cards and had to form my own sentences.

Dear __________,

Thank you for the _________. It is really __________. I can’t wait to _____________________. Thank you so much.

Love,

________

Those were the days. Now, thank you notes are more important than ever. I have been advised over and over again to write thank you notes to anyone I meet with during my job search. Luckily my mother trained me well and writing a thank note is no problem.

Since I intend to have a lot of meetings in the coming weeks, I decided to order some personalized note cards from Vistaprint. They arrived today, just in time for the career fair!
