Out of the South and into the City

Book of Wonder

Almost everyone who goes into publishing will tell you that the reason they did it is because they love books, not because they want money. Owning a bookstore is no different.

Peter Glassman, owner of New York’s Book of Wonder, has a true passion and love for children’s books and his store is adorable. Famous characters from all of the classics dance around the top of the shelves while children swoon over the cupcakes and cookies in the cafe.

As I browsed the shelves, my childhood came back to life as I remembered all of my favorite characters and stories. I could have stayed for hours.
